forms stylized HealthCare Maximize Your Business PotentialA franchise is a good way to set up your own business, as it will provide you with a pre-existing business structure that will offer a lot of support to help you make the best of your product/service.

There are a number of special techniques which can help you to maximize the potential of your franchise business, and it is important that you take time to understand and learn more about these techniques in order to make the most of your investment.

Finding the Right Opportunity
It can be difficult to summon up enough enthusiasm and focus for a product or service you are not really very interested in, so when you are choosing which franchise you are going to invest in it is not only important to think carefully about which areas of business may be suitable to your skills and make you a good profit, but also which areas will hold your interest and focus.

For example if you are interested in natural medicines and health then a franchise such as MonaVie can be a good idea, as this company sells a wide range of natural health drinks and offers a strong supportive base that can not only make you money, but will also hold your interest so that you will be able to feel enthusiastic about the brand and this will come across to your customers and clients and produce positive effects on profits and overall success.

Reinvest
For any business to be successful it needs a certain amount of reinvestment, which can carried out either through putting back in some of the profits made or by sourcing private ‘out of pocket’ investments. It will depend on the type of franchise you have as to what exactly you reinvest your capital into, but it could be used for expanding the business and moving to new premises or even new areas, or perhaps you could reinvest money into staff resources and training.

Training
Training is an essential part of any franchise, as not only will you need training in how the brand works but any staff you take on will also need training. When you are looking at franchises make sure the support is there for you in terms of training, and this could be in the form of workshops and seminars, training leaflets and manuals or even online training.

MonaVie provides full support when it comes to training their distributors and have a dedicated online website called MonaVie Black Diamond University which provides all of the information and guidance you and your staff need about the brand and products on offer.

MonaVie Black Diamond can assist you in maximizing your natural health business and achieving your goals, and have a number of high tech business building techniques that are provided through online training presentations, training guides, DVDs and audio CDs. This will provide you and your staff with product and brand education, and help to develop successful business skills from accountability through to teamwork, and will help all MonaVie representatives to train and enhance their sales and distribution teams. :)

Nappers are on risk of Type-2 Diabetes

September 16th, 2009 admin Health News 0

sleep Nappers are on risk of Type 2 DiabetesIf you are fond of sleeping especially in the day, there is a piece of news for you. Unfortunately, it is a bad news. Because according to a recent study people who take day-time naps regularly may be at an increased risk of developing type-2 diabetes. The study showed people who slept during the day were 26% more likely to get diabetics. Researchers from University of Birmingham have recently revealed that during their study.

The researcher team considered the sleeping habits of more than 16,480 older people in China. Among them around 68% took regular naps. The researcher observed that napping in the day just once per week increased the possibility of developing the diabetes. Regular nappers are less likely to sleep well at night. The condition is time and again attributed to detrimental lifestyles and being overweight, lack of good night sleep known to be a contributing factor as well.

The researchers said though they took into account some other contributing factors, for example the weight of the subjects, but it is clear; there was an apparent link between sleeping for small periods and type-2 diabetes. Director of research at Diabetes, UK Dr Iain Frame said the new study could be a new step towards explaining the possible link between disturbed sleep patterns and type-2 diabetes. He said “However, in terms of being major risk factors for developing type-2 diabetes, disturbed sleep or napping are likely to remain less significant than already established risk factors such as being overweight, being over the age of 40 or having a history of diabetes in the family.”

Dr Shahrad Taheri, from the University of Birmingham said as the amount of patients with type-2 diabetes are increasing; so, they are trying to do something so that they can help the people to prevent from developing the condition.

Monitoring Breast Cancer Patients is Necessary

breast cancerThe breast cancer sufferers who have already gone into remission; however, they get their cancer return are at up to 50% the risk of dying from the disease if the disease return is spotted early said a group of international researchers. The group who carried out the new study has warned that respective doctors must keep on monitoring breast cancer patients strongly. It will help them to identify returning ’secondary’ tumours just before symptoms appear. It is very necessary because if it detected early enough a lot of patients have a 27% to 47% better chance of survival than victims whose cancer is identified later. Their research study has been published in the journal Annals of Oncology.

The research team said that it was the very broad assessment of how early detection can prevent deaths from secondary breast cancer. Leader of the group from the University of Sydney’s School of Public Health Nehmat Houssami said “Intuitively, it makes sense to consider that early detection of second breast cancers will improve prognosis, since breast cancer survivors have a long-term risk of developing further disease or relapse in either breast.”  Houssami said there had been a “paucity of evidence” about the advantages of early identification. The study said, “Recommendations on follow-up after treatment of early breast cancer should consider our findings, which suggest that early detection of second breast cancer events improves prognosis in this ever-increasing group of women”. The group observed 1,044 sufferers between 1980 and 2005. The sufferer had attended a clinic in Florence, Italy that period.

weight lossThe long term difficulty from weight-loss surgery deserves more attention as number of U.S. procedures is successful. The McClatchy Newspapers reported on Sunday that, Even as stomach-shrinking, or bariatric, surgery has become a standard of care for those with weight-related health issues, no one is yet sure why some bariatric patients fare better than others, or why some even face disastrous side effects.

To cope with epidemic levels of obesity, about 200,000 weight-loss surgeries are being performed in the United States each year as the providers say. These weight-loss surgeries have been proven effective in helping people who suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and other issues.

However, between 30 and 40 percents of patients are suffering problems with the bariatric connections, hernias, infections and pneumonia and noting post-surgery problems send 18 percent of patients back to the hospital, sometimes for costly re-admissions or corrective surgery. William Encinosa, lead author of a federal weight-loss surgery study, told McClatchy newspaper, “Anytime you can cut into the intestine, you have a risk of complications,” and also added, “Clearly there are benefits for people who are morbidly obese, but these patients need to know what they are getting into.”

Diabetic and Heart Diseases, Both are Risky

heart disease51 Diabetic and Heart Diseases, Both are Risky Recently, some scientists have discovered that men with type 2 diabetes and men with cardiovascular disease have similar long-term mortality risks. The research showed that men with type 2 diabetes and men with previous heart stroke or attack had a 3 to 4 fold risk of cardiovascular death, as compared to men without either disease in the years following the first acute event.

The latest study underscores the serious risk of diabetes. Dr. Gilles Dagenais and colleagues from Laval University and the University of Montreal write as “men with type 2 diabetes and no previous cardiovascular disease had a 3-fold cardiovascular mortality risk compared with men with neither cardiovascular disease nor diabetes at the beginning of the follow-up.” Nonetheless, the research was limited to only white men; besides, diabetes was self-reported in more than two-thirds of cases.

According to the study, in the first five years, researchers discovered men with type 2 diabetes had a very lower risk for cardiovascular mortality compared to men with previous heart stroke or attack or and without diabetes. However, in the long term, the researchers got that both of the groups had similar mortality risks. The conclusion of the study specifically highlight that there is a need for optimal management and prevention of diabetes, stroke and heart disease. So, if you get those health problems consult with your physician.
